Incorporating the traditional styles of Hatha yoga with Vinyasa Flow, Kundalini and Yin Yoga, we move through Asanas with the breath as our gaze falls on the beauty of the Caribbean Sea. Your senses will come alive, surrounded with the sights and sounds of nature while your body and mind relaxes in into a peaceful state.

Your practice can be whatever you want it to be, physically, mentally, emotionally and/or spiritually. When balanced, we feel comfortable with ourselves and happy with our life. We feel empowered to manifest our intentions.

Open your heart, gaze to the sky and embrace relaxation without dullness and alertness without tension. Set your intention to move with purpose, honor yourself, your body and allow your breathing to center you.

Beautiful space full of good energy

Sun Yoga its my favorite place ever to do yoga. I feel so comfi and relax in front of the ocean. I love there is a different professor everyday and all of them have a different style and energy to teach what is making the class so more fun and entertaining. Sun yoga has played such an integral part in creating and maintaining a community spirit while the whole lockdown went on. A variety of talented and passionate teachers and a beautiful wooden deck space overlooking the beautiful blue Caribbean Sea. Honored to have played a small part in teaching a class once a week and having the support of my fellow teachers and students. Hope that Sun Yoga continues to shine its beautiful light out into this world.

An excellent yoga spot!

The first time I stepped on the second floor of Sundowner’s I exclaimed “This would make an excellent yoga spot!” A year and a half the later, as everything was shutting down, SunYoga emerged on the crystal colored Half-moon Bay in West End, Roatan. Teen’s energy, enthusiasm and gift of yoga has since become a beautiful community. Every day at 9 am I know there is a unique place where magic is to be made here in Roatan. The word ‘Yoga” comes from the Sanskrit root ‘Yuj”, meaning to join, to yoke or to unite. SunYoga has become a beautiful community, with a beautiful array of unique people- teachers, students, meditators, musicians and dancers all uniting in the name of Yoga. “I hope someday you’ll join us” and be a part of SunYoga! Always a lovely glowing energy

As a yoga novice I started going to Sun Yoga midway through lockdown on Roatan and immediately wished i’d started sooner. The classes are varied in style and each with the instructor’s unique, expertly individual approach. As much as the location is a stunning spot to stretch, engage, be challenged and thoughtful in, like most things in life it’s always about the people. Such a supportive community has been created here. Always a lovely glowing energy on the deck to learn, grow, feel and share love. Thank you!
